Thomas Brill has practiced law in California since 1986, working primarily on wrongful death and major injury cases. He has tried numerous cases over the years and has had a number of verdicts in the millions of dollars. In 2004 he had a $7.2 million verdict against the City of Bakersfield in a brain injury case. In 2011 he had a $3.3 million verdict in a death case.

He has also settled many cases for more than a million dollars. His largest settlement was a case against a tire manufacturer in excess of $9 million.

He has traveled throughout the United States representing accident victims, and has also traveled to Santiago, Chile to argue in front of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

He represented the daughter of the famous author Jack Kerouac in a will contest relating to Jack's will.

Mr. Brill is fluent in Spanish. Spanish speaking clients comprise about one third of his practice.
