I have been representing policyholders in claims against insurance companies for over 20 years. Before that, I defended insurance companies, which gives me an insight into the games they play with policyholders who have paid premiums for insurance coverage when they become victims of fires and other tragedies. After graduating from law school, I was a Research Attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals.
I have written articles and given speeches on every aspect fire loss and insurance law for the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, The Michigan Association for Justice, the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and the Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
I am a longtime board member of the Michigan Association for Justice and sit regularly as a case evaluator for the Wayne County Mediation Tribunal and the Genesee County Bar Association. I am AV rated, was named a top trial attorney by dbdetroit and one of the 100 top Michigan trial lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association.
