For the last thirteen (13) years Mr. Weidenfeller's practice has been limited, exclusively, to cases involving professional negligence on the part of hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care providers. He has a passion for trial work and is actively involved in various forms of trial practice research. He has an excellent trial record and has tried cases to conclusion in three different states. His most recent malpractice verdicts include a $1.215 million dollar jury verdict in Macomb County; a $988,000 dollar jury verdict in Oakland County, a $1.17 million dollar jury verdict in Emmet County and a $234,000 dollar jury verdict in Alpena County. In 2006, Mr. Weidenfeller obtained the largest reported professional negligence settlement in the State of Michigan, on behalf of a child with Cerebral Palsy.

Mr. Weidenfeller serves as a case evaluator and an arbitrator in negligence claims. He is an Executive Board Member of the Michigan Association for Justice and has received Certificates of Appreciation for his Federal Pro Bono work. He has spoken to other lawyers about effective techniques for pre-trial discovery, the cross-examination of expert witnesses and general trial practice. He has been named by "Super Lawyers" as a "Rising Star" in the field of professional negligence.
