Attorney Laurie Del Percio leads the Horn law litigation team. As the Lead Litigation Attorney, Ms. Del Percio regularly litigates complex injury and death cases involving auto and truck collisions, medical error, premises liability, work / industrial accidents.

Since joining Horn Law in 2002, Ms. Del Percio has obtained many notable personal injury and medical negligence verdicts and settlements, including 6 cases listed in the Top Verdicts and Settlements 2009 published in the Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Additionally, Ms. Del Percio has been voted "Best of the Bar" by her peers, during both 2009 and 2010, as featured in the Kansas City Business Journal.

Prior to joining Horn Law, Ms. Del Percio practiced as an insurance defense attorney representing large insurance companies in personal injury litigation. The broad scope of Ms. Del Percio's experience gives her unique advantages in representing injury victims with significant injuries and physical disabilities.

Ms. Del Percio earned her Juris Doctorate with Distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1999. Previously, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with Distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996. She is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.

Ms. Del Percio has appeared before numerous State and Federal courts, including the state trial courts in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, and Arizona and the United States District Courts in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Iowa. She is well-versed in all aspects of civil trial rules and procedures and recently successfully argued the Johnson v. McCullough case before the Missouri Supreme Court which dealt with jury selection.

Ms. DelPercio is a recipient of the Thomas E. Deacy, Sr. Memorial Trial Practice Award and has been named in America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals, Strathmore's Who's Who, and is a member of the Order of Barristers.
