Bob Brzezinski grew up on the East Coast and moved to Texas in the early 1970's. His parents were both first-generation Americans, the children of Polish immigrants. His father was a decorated World War II veteran, and he and Bob's mom shared nearly 60 years together before he passed away. Those values of patriotism, loyalty, and the importance of family have informed Bob Brzezinski's life and work. His parents passed to him the notion of "paying your dues" at an early age, and Bob has followed that idea ever since. In high school he worked as many as three jobs simultaneously and was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist and two-sport athlete who set several school records, some of which still stood over 25 years later. In college he delivered marble bathtubs to help pay for his tuition, often working full-time while attending school full-time. In 1990, Bob began working for Tom Rhodes as a law student, and has worked alongside him ever since. He tried his first case a year out of law school and has tried many more since then, handling complex cases all over Texas as well as in other states such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Louisiana, and Kentucky. Bob has briefed and argued cases in front of several Texas appellate courts and the Supreme Court of Texas, and has lectured on legal topics at conferences and seminars in the United States and Canada. He has been interviewed on television news programs about his representation of the catastrophically injured. In addition to being Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he has been named as a "Superlawyer" (2011) and a "Rising Star" (2004) in Texas Monthly magazine. Bob is also a peer-nominated member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has received an "AV", or highest, rating from the Martindale-Hubbell legal publication.
