Founder Thomas Maronick Jr is best known for several multi-million dollar, news-making civil cases as well as for a strong courtroom reputation in criminal defense.

Bankruptcy remains one of the firm's biggest areas, with a strong focus being placed on Chapter 7's especially, in courts from Greenbelt to Baltimore to Salisbury.

Mr. Maronick also is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and the Baltimore City Bar Association.

The firm's home base in in Baltimore, but has offices in Bel Air and Berlin (near Ocean City) but Mr. Maronick has worked in all but eight of Maryland's 24 counties.

Mr. Maronick was formerly the deputy law clerk to the late Circuit Court Chief Judge John Prevas before beginning his career in earnest.

Mr. Maronick when not practicing law, is also known as "Tom Moore" - host of the radio program "The Tom Moore Show" on AM 680 WCBM in Baltimore, and frontman for a jazz band, with a CD available on I-Tunes, "Tom Moore: Restless Journey."
