Jessica is a native Nevadan, born and raised in Reno. As a graduate of the University of Oregon, she majored in Political Science. She received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco, where she actively participated in numerous legal advocacy programs in the Bay Area. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the Washoe County Bar Association. Jessica is also a member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada, which is a distinguished ten person board of directors charged with overseeing the internal affairs of the Family Law Section. As part of her work on the Council Jessica has presented at various State Bar sponsored family law conferences and co-authored several amicus briefs to the Nevada Supreme Court regarding important family law issues, helping to shape legal policy.
