What are the animal disease control laws?
In New Hampshire, animal disease control laws are in place to protect the health and safety of animals, and the food supply of the state. These laws are set in place by both the state and the federal government in order to prevent the spread of animal-borne diseases. The New Hampshire state government has created the Animal Industry Division, which is responsible for overseeing the animal disease control laws in the state. This division works closely with the state veterinarian and other animal industry partners to ensure the proper enforcement of the laws. The laws regulate the transport and treatment of animals, in addition to the requirements for immunization. Animals that are travelling across state lines into New Hampshire must have the proper documents and certificates issued by the Division. Similarly, all veterinary facilities, zoos, and animal shelters must be registered with the Animal Industry Division in order to meet the requirements of the animal disease control laws. The Division is also responsible for licensing and inspecting premises where animals are kept or handled in order to ensure that animals are not infected with any diseases. In addition, the Division also provides guidance to farmers and pet owners on how to properly care for their animals in order to prevent the spread of animal-borne diseases. In short, the animal disease control laws of New Hampshire are important for the health of animals, the people of the state, and the food supply. These laws are enforced by the New Hampshire state government’s Animal Industry Division and must be followed by those owning or dealing with animals.
