How are aircraft accidents investigated and compensated?
In Indiana, aircraft accidents are investigated and resolved in much the same way as other vehicle accidents. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is responsible for investigating all civil aircraft accidents, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has jurisdiction over the investigation of military aircraft accidents.
