What is the purpose of the Convention on International Civil Aviation?
The purpose of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, often referred to as the Chicago Convention, is to support the safe and orderly development of international air travel. This treaty was signed in 1944 in Chicago, and entered into force in 1947.
