What constitutes a violation of aviation law?
In Oklahoma, a violation of aviation law occurs when a person fails to follow the state’s rules and regulations regarding the usage of aircraft. This could include operating an aircraft without a valid pilot’s license or operating an aircraft without registering it with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). It can also include operating an aircraft in an unsafe manner or in a manner that endangers the safety of passengers or other people. Additionally, flying an aircraft too close to other aircraft or obstructing another aircraft’s flight path could also be considered a violation of aviation law. Another common violation of aviation law is flying an aircraft without the necessary permits or approval from the FAA or other relevant authorities. Other violations include failing to follow the rules and regulations of the airspace or airport in which you are operating, operating an aircraft in an unauthorized area or failing to follow the instructions of Air Traffic Control. Finally, it is a violation of aviation law to interfere with the law enforcement duties of a law enforcement officer or to interfere with the operation of an aircraft by another pilot. It is also illegal to fly an aircraft while under the influence of drugs or alcohol or to transport people or goods in an aircraft without the proper authorization or permits.
