In Nebraska, the cultivation of cannabis is illegal and is not governed by laws. Possession of any amount of cannabis is illegal as well. The possession of medical cannabis is the only exception to the laws on cannabis in Nebraska. Under this measure, regulated medical cannabis that is distributed and sold in the state can be consumed by qualified patients. It is still illegal to cultivate any amount of cannabis for any reason, including medical purposes, in Nebraska.
