Are there any restrictions on edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis products?

In New Jersey, there are restrictions on edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis products. In order to legally purchase these products, individuals must possess a valid medical marijuana card. This card can only be issued by a medical doctor registered with the Medicinal Marijuana Program. Edibles may contain up to 10mg of THC (the primary psychoactive component in cannabis) per serving, and each package must not exceed a total of 100mg of THC. Concentrates and other cannabis products are limited to a maximum of 35% THC. In addition, all edible products must be labeled with the amount of THC contained in each serving and the total amount of THC in the package. Packages must also have a warning label with information about the potential health risks associated with marijuana use. Additionally, edibles and other cannabis products may not be packaged or labeled in a way that is attractive to children. This includes bright colors, cartoon characters, or any kind of advertising that could entice minors. Cannabis law is changing rapidly in New Jersey and it is important to review the current regulations before purchasing any marijuana related products. It is also important to remember that recreational marijuana is still illegal in New Jersey and that any purchase or possession of cannabis products without a valid medical marijuana card is a criminal offense.
