Are there any limitations on the amount of cannabis that can be bought at one time?
In Pennsylvania, there are limitations on the amount of cannabis that can be purchased at one time. According to the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act, a patient may only purchase a 30-day supply of medical marijuana (up to a maximum of 100 grams) from an approved dispensary. In addition, medical marijuana may not be smoked, eaten, or vaped in public, even if it is prescribed. For recreational cannabis, the limit is not as strict. According to the Pennsylvania Hemp and Hemp Products Act, anyone 21 years of age or older can possess up to 30 grams of cannabis flower, 8 grams of cannabis concentrate, and up to 1,000 mg of THC-infused products. The law does not limit the amount of cannabis products an individual can buy in one purchase. It is important to note that the Pennsylvania Hemp and Hemp Products Act prohibits the possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis flower, 8 grams of cannabis concentrate, and 1,000 mg of THC-infused products by one individual at one time. As such, it is important to be mindful of the amount of cannabis you purchase and/or possess. Furthermore, it is important to note that consuming cannabis in public is still illegal, regardless of the amount you possess.
