How is a civil union impacted by a divorce?
When it comes to civil unions and divorce in Florida, it can be complicated. A civil union is a type of union between two people who agree to live together and share fortune and property as if they were in a marriage. However, unlike a marriage, a civil union is not recognized legally in the state of Florida. Because of this, the state does not have any laws related to how a civil union is dissolved.
