When and where do I have to vote?

In Arkansas, registered voters must cast their ballots on Election Day at their designated polling location. Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Before Election Day, registered voters may cast their ballots at a county clerk’s office or at a designated early-voting site. Arkansas law also permits absentee voting for registered voters who are physically unable to vote at their designated polling location. In order to vote, you must provide proof of identity. Acceptable forms of ID include: (1) a photo ID issued by the state of Arkansas or the United States, (2) a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows your name and address, or (3) a valid student ID issued by an institution of higher education in Arkansas. Voting is a privilege and a right that should not be taken lightly. Before you cast your ballot, make sure you’re informed about the candidates and propositions on the ballot. Your vote is important - make sure you make it count!
