What is the Equine Welfare Act?
The Equine Welfare Act is a law passed in Delaware that is designed to protect the welfare of horses. This law was passed in 2003 and is administered by the Department of Agriculture. The law also provides penalties, including fines and jail time, for people who violate the Act.
