What is the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities?
The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is an international treaty that promotes the protection and equal opportunities of people with disabilities. The Convention was adopted by the United Nations in 2006 and has since been signed and ratified by more than 170 countries, including the United States and Michigan.
