When is a labor certification required?
A labor certification is typically required for employment-based immigration in the state of New Mexico. This is a document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) that verifies that there are no U.S. workers who are able and willing to accept a certain job. Therefore, a labor certification is needed for an employee or employer to successfully submit a petition for an immigrant visa.
