How do I report immigration fraud?

If you have witnessed or have information about immigration fraud, it is important to report it. In Washington State, you can report immigration fraud to the Office of the Attorney General’s Immigration Fraud Unit by calling 1-877-601-7020, emailing immigrationfraud@atg.wa.gov, or by sending mail to the Immigration Fraud Unit, PO Box 40100, Olympia, WA 98504-0100. In addition, you can report it to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Fraud Detection and National Security Division by calling the USCIS Fraud Hotline at 1-800-355-7683, sending mail to the Fraud Detection and National Security Division, US Department of Homeland Security, Washington, D.C. 20524, or by emailing the USCIS. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also has a Hotline for reporting immigration fraud at 1-866-DHS-2ICE (1-866-347-2423). You can also report fraud or suspicious activity to the ICE website. In Washington State, you can contact local law enforcement or a district attorney’s office to report any immigration fraud related crime. Depending on the type of fraud, such as marriage fraud or document fraud, you should contact a local law enforcement agency or a district attorney’s office. If you have experienced family separation due to immigration fraud, you can contact community organizations such as Northwest Immigrants Rights Project or The Legal Voice. These organizations may be able to provide you with legal referrals or assistance.
