What is the CPT program for student visas?
The CPT program, otherwise known as Curricular Practical Training, is a program that provides student visas for international students studying in Wisconsin. CPT allows international students to do off-campus work or internships as part of their studies, allowing them to gain practical experience and skills related to their academic goals. CPT is intended to give foreign students the opportunity to gain valuable experience while still studying, and it is only available to F-1 international students. In order to be eligible for the CPT program, international students must first obtain a student visa from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
