Can I bring my family with me to the U.S. if I have a student visa?
In Kansas, a student visa will allow you to come to the U.S. to study, but it does not guarantee that you can bring your family with you. Whether or not you can bring your family with you depends on the student visa you have and the type of family member you wish to bring. If you have an F-1 visa, you may be able to bring along your spouse and dependent children under the age of 21.
