What is an E-2 investor visa?
An E-2 Investor Visa is a type of visa offered by the U.S. government to certain foreign national investors and their families. This visa allows them to live and work legally in the United States in order to develop and direct a business in which they have invested a large sum of money. To be eligible for an E-2 Investor Visa, the foreign national must first invest a substantial amount of money into a business in the U.S. The investment must be active and have substantial economic presence.
