What is the naturalization oath?
The naturalization oath is a promise made by someone applying for U.S. citizenship. It is administered by a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officer and is taken during the naturalization ceremony. The oath, which is also known as the “Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America,” must be repeated in full and can be found on the USCIS website.
