How do I obtain a work visa?
In order to obtain a work visa in Oregon, you must first be sponsored by an employer. You must then fill out an I-129 form, which is the Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker. Finally, the applicant must attend an in-person visa interview at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. During this interview, the applicant will be required to provide proof of identity, answer questions, and provide documentation to prove the information they provided in the application. After the successful completion of the interview, the visa will be issued and can be used to legally work in Oregon.
