The WTO Dispute Settlement Understanding (DSU) is an international agreement that helps settle disputes between countries in the World Trade Organization (WTO). The DSU outlines the procedures and rules that govern how a trade dispute between two or more WTO members should be resolved. These measures can include the suspension of trade benefits or access to domestic markets. The DSU was created to provide WTO members with a mechanism for resolving trade disputes in a fair and transparent manner.
