Who can be sued in a liquor liability lawsuit?

In Arizona, anyone who sells, manufactures, or serves alcoholic beverages may be sued in a liquor liability lawsuit. This includes business owners, bartenders, servers, and even hosts of private parties. Other individuals who may be liable in a liquor liability lawsuit include social hosts, such as homeowners who serve alcohol at a party in their home. Additionally, any company that has a profit-making interest in the sale, manufacture, or service of alcoholic beverages can be held liable for any accidents or injuries related to the consumption of said alcohol. This includes grocery stores, liquor stores, bars, and restaurants that serve alcohol. In Arizona, it is illegal to sell or serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. If this law is broken, the person or business responsible for supplying the alcohol may be sued in a liquor liability lawsuit. This includes any person or business that negligently provides alcohol to a minor, even if the minor is of legal drinking age. In some cases, the manufacturer or distributor of the alcoholic beverage may also be held responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from its consumption. This is particularly true if the manufacturer or distributor did not exercise reasonable care in producing or distributing the beverage. In such cases, the manufacturer or distributor of the alcohol may be held accountable for any resulting damages.
