What treaties have Native Americans signed with the United States?

The United States and Native American tribes have signed multiple treaties over the years, most of which have not been honored by the US. In North Carolina, the Cherokee Nation signed the Treaty of Hopewell in 1785 and the Treaty of Holston in 1791. These treaties delineated land boundaries in North Carolina and other states and provided recognition of sovereignty for the Cherokee Nation. They later signed the Treaty of Buffalo Creek in 1838, ceding their land to the US in exchange for a reservation of 600,000 acres in the state. Overall, the US has signed multiple treaties with Native American tribes in North Carolina, all of which have had significant effects on the land and people of the state.
