What treaties have Native Americans signed with the United States?

During the 1800s, Native Americans throughout the United States signed various treaties with the federal government, including in the state of Texas. One of the earliest treaties was the Treaty of Bird’s Fort signed in 1843 between the Republic of Texas and various Native American tribes of the region, including the Anadarko, Caddo, and Comanche. In 1845, the Treaty of Annexation between the Republic of Texas and the United States was signed, bringing Texas into the Union as a state. This treaty was followed by a series of treaties between the federal government and the Native American tribes of Texas that guaranteed rights to tribal lands, fishing, hunting, and hunting rights. In 1868, the Treaty of Medicine Lodge, also known as the Medicine Lodge Treaty, was signed between the United States and the Comanche, Kiowa, and Apache tribes of the Southern Plains. This treaty established peace between the Native Americans and the United States and guaranteed rights to tribal lands, hunting, fishing, and grazing rights. In 1867, the United States signed the Treaty of Started to purchase certain Native American lands in the state of Texas. This treaty guaranteed compensation to the Native American tribes for the purchase of the lands, as well as rights to hunting, fishing, and grazing. These treaties have played a significant role in the legal rights of Native Americans throughout the United States, including in the state of Texas. Although many of the specific terms of these treaties have been amended through court rulings, they have been instrumental in establishing and protecting the rights of Native Americans in the state.
