What is a Notice to Quit?
A Notice to Quit is a legal document used in residential real estate law in New Hampshire. It is a written notice used to inform a tenant that they must vacate the rental property by a certain date. The Notice to Quit is typically required for the landlord to begin the eviction process in the state. The notice must inform the tenant of the right to remain on the property until a court order is issued.
