What is tire failure law?

Tire failure law, sometimes referred to as tire liability law, is a set of laws in Arizona that determine who is financially responsible for any damage that is caused by a tire failure. These laws are designed to protect drivers from being held liable for the actions of others or for damage caused by a tire defect. Under Arizona tire failure law, the manufacturer of the tire is held responsible for any damage resulting from a tire failure. If a tire failure occurs due to a manufacturing defect or due to a defect in materials used, the manufacturer is legally liable for the damages suffered. In addition, Arizona tire failure law holds the seller of the tire liable if they fail to inspect the tires prior to sale, or if they fail to provide proper maintenance instructions to the customer. If the seller fails to meet either of these requirements, they can be held financially responsible for any resulting damage. Additionally, Arizona tire failure law allows a claimant to bring a lawsuit against any party who is responsible for the tire failure, such as the manufacturer, the seller, or anyone who contributed to the tire’s condition before it was purchased. This law seeks to ensure that those who are responsible are held accountable for any damage caused by a tire failure.
