What is the purpose of the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)?
The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) is a legal policy set forth by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) that governs disputes related to the registration and use of domain names in Washington and across the world. The UDRP is designed to provide a quick, fair, and cost-effective way for trademark and copyright owners to resolve domain name disputes in order to protect their intellectual property rights.
