What are my options for education or training after leaving the military?

The Post-9/11 GI Bill in Delaware is a comprehensive education benefit for veterans who have served on active duty since September 10, 2001, or in the Reserves or National Guard since October 1, 2007. The benefits can be used to cover tuition and fees, a housing allowance, and any necessary books and supplies for academic and technical training. Those eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill in Delaware may choose to pursue an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Professional degree at a college or university, or eligible technical or vocational school. Organizations ranging from state governments to civic groups to private foundations provide scholarships for veterans who wish to pursue a college or technical education. Veterans can use these scholarships to cover the cost of tuition or other expenses related to their academic or training pursuits.
