Yes, there are special benefits available for veterans of the Iraq War who reside in the State of Florida. Depending on the length of service in the Iraq War, veterans may be eligible for benefits such as educational assistance, employment services, counseling services, health care, burial benefits, home loan guarantees, and financial assistance programs. One of the most widely used benefits is the Post-9/11 GI Bill, which provides veterans with up to 36 months of financial support covering tuition and fees, living expenses and education materials.
