In Indiana, obtaining a turbine engine endorsement requires a pilot to have an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, a valid medical certification, and a current turbine engine endorsement. To acquire the endorsement, the pilot must first pass a written exam focused on turbine engine aircraft and operations. The exam can be taken and a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorized Flight Instructor with a turbine engine endorsement can provide the necessary instruction.
