What laws govern advertising in China?

When it comes to advertising in China, businesses must abide by the Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China. This law governs all types of advertisements that are broadcast, printed, distributed, or displayed in any public place. The Advertising Law of the People’s Republic of China is intended to prevent false advertising and protect consumers from misleading or deceptive messages. Finally, businesses must adhere to the Advertising Law’s labeling and packaging requirements. These include providing accurate information about the origin, manufacture, and quality of products, as well as notifying consumers of any potential health risks associated with a product or service.
