What is the difference between a commercial real estate broker and a real estate agent?

Agents are able to work with buyers and sellers and show them properties, but they are not able to negotiate on behalf of their clients. Agents are responsible for marketing a property and helping a buyer or seller find the best deal. The main difference between commercial real estate brokers and real estate agents is that brokers are licensed to negotiate on behalf of clients, while agents cannot.
