Furthermore, individuals have the right to be notified of any security breach involving their personal information and request that their personal information not be sold to third parties. Lastly, individuals have the right to be informed of their rights by businesses in a privacy notice and have the right to file a complaint with the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation if their rights are violated.
