What is the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008?

The Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) is a federal law that was passed by Congress and signed by President George W. Bush in 2008. The purpose of the ADAAA is to broaden the definition of disability in the United States with the goal of protecting more people from discrimination and providing more protections under the existing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
