How much do I need to pay if I'm convicted of a DUI?
If you are convicted of a DUI in North Dakota, the penalties you will face vary depending on the specifics of your case. Generally, the penalties you face for a DUI include fines, jail time, revocation of your driver’s license, and potential probation. Fines for a first offense DUI may be up to $1,000 and the court also may impose a criminal assessment penalty of up to $400. Jail time for a first offense DUI can range from a minimum of two days up to 30 days.
