Can my employer reduce my pay without informing me?

In Kansas, employers may reduce an employee’s wages without informing the employee if the change is made in good faith and is based on legitimate business considerations. For example, if the business is going through hard times and needs to reduce costs, it may reduce employees’ pay in order to make ends meet.
