What is the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act?

The Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) is a law designed to regulate the use of pesticides in the state of Washington and across the United States. Additionally, FIFRA also gives citizens the right to sue the government if they feel as though their rights have been violated or that a pesticide has endangered their health or the environment. This allows citizens to hold the government accountable for any misuse of pesticides.
