What is the EB-3 visa?

The EB-3 visa is a type of work visa issued by the United States government to immigrants looking to work in Virginia. This visa is generally reserved for immigrants who are professional, have college degrees, have training and other qualifications, or are considered “skilled workers,” such as chefs, medical professionals, and IT professionals. The EB-3 visa is available to any immigrant that has a job offer from an employer in the United States that requires a minimum of two years of training or job experience or who meets the minimum educational requirements for the position. These requirements may include, but are not limited to, a bachelor’s degree or higher, or a minimum two-year technical or vocational training program. The process for applying for an EB-3 visa is similar to any other U.S. visa application. The immigrant must complete and submit a Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Form I-129, along with supporting documents and evidence to prove their job-related qualifications. Upon approval, the applicant will then be issued an EB-3 visa, allowing them to travel to the United States and start working in the offered position. Since the EB-3 visa is reserved for those immigrants with the necessary qualifications, it is important to carefully consider the qualifications and have all of the necessary documents on hand before applying. This will help to ensure a smooth visa process and ultimately make it easier to immigrate to the United States to work in Virginia.
