What are the requirements for an H-1B visa?
An H-1B visa is a type of employment-based visa that allows foreign nationals to work temporarily in the United States. It is issued for a three-year time period, and it can be extended for up to six years. In order to qualify for an H-1B visa in Virginia, the applicant must meet certain requirements. First, the applicant must have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. This can be a degree from a foreign university, as long as it is highly regarded in the country of origin. Additionally, the applicant must possess relevant job experience and a job offer from a U.S. employer that meets the prevailing wage requirement for the position.
