What is an H-4 visa?
An H-4 visa is a type of visa specifically designed for students who are coming to Kansas or other states in the United States to study. The H-4 visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows students to enter the U.S. for a temporary period of time in order to pursue their educational goals. In order to qualify for an H-4 visa, students must be sponsored by a close family member who is already in the U.S. legally, such as a parent, spouse, or other relative. The sponsoring family member must be able to demonstrate that they have the financial means to support the student while they are studying in the U.S. The H-4 visa also allows the student to do certain activities while they are in the U.S., such as work off-campus, pursue academic studies, and travel outside the U.S. and back in. However, the student must remain in the U.S. as their primary place of residence for the duration of their stay. Overall, the H-4 visa is a great way for students to pursue their education goals in the United States. It allows them to come to Kansas or other states to pursue their studies, while still being able to maintain their ties to their family and their home country.
