How do I renew my visa?
In order to renew a visa in Florida, you must first determine if you are eligible to renew. To be eligible, you must meet certain criteria, including having previously obtained a visa that is still valid and not expired, and having an application that is still pending review. Once you have received your visa, you must maintain your status in the US in order to renew the visa at the end of its two-year period. To do this, you must take an authorized course, pass an English proficiency test, and pay an application fee. Once these requirements are satisfied, you may submit a renewal application to the FDLE. Once approved, you will be issued a new visa for a maximum of two years.
