How do I check the status of my immigration application?
If you’re interested in checking the status of your immigration application in Texas, it’s important to know the right steps to take. Depending on the type of application, you may be able to check your status in a number of ways. If you’ve applied for a nonimmigrant visa, the U.S. Department of State provides a tool called the Visa Status Check on its website. This allows you to quickly and easily check the status of your visa application. All you need to do is enter your Visa Number or the last name of the applicant, and the system will tell you the current status of your application. If you’ve applied for a permanent residency or green card, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) also provides a tool called Case Status Check. With this tool, you can enter the receipt number provided to you by USCIS and check the progress of your application. Finally, USCIS also provides a Live Chat service if you don’t want to check the status of your application online. You can access the Live Chat service on the USCIS website, and speak with a customer service representative from USCIS who can help you with your application. It’s important to note that regardless of how you check the status of your application, there may be delays depending on the volume of applications being processed by the relevant agencies.
