How often will Social Security review my claim if I am approved for Social Security Disability?
If you are approved for Social Security Disability in the state of Virginia, your claim will be reviewed periodically by the Social Security Administration. This review process helps to ensure that recipients are still eligible to continue to receive benefits. The frequency of reviews depends on the individual’s medical condition. Some conditions are more permanent and will not need to be reviewed as often as those that are more subject to change. In general, reviews are required at least every three years if a medical condition is expected to improve.
