What is the time limit for contesting a traffic ticket court decision?

In South Carolina, you have a certain amount of time to contest a traffic ticket court decision. According to the South Carolina Code of Laws (§ 15-39-830), a person who has been found guilty by a magistrate, municipal judge, or court of general sessions must file an appeal within 10 days of the guilty judgement.
