Is it legal to pay workers working abroad different wages than domestic workers?
It is generally illegal to pay different wages to workers based on their location, including those working abroad. In Louisiana, state and federal wage and hour laws require employers to pay all employees the minimum wage and overtime pay, regardless of their location.
